One of our customers touched the ST53 heat sink and felt very hot. He said ST53 heat dissipation is not as good as that of the ST36 street light.

ST36 street light
The heat dissipation rib is higher, and the air contact surface is larger to directly transfer the heat to the air.
The contact area between the top and the hand is small, so we feel the temperature is lower.
ST53 street light：
Because the internal heat dissipation rib is shorter, the heat can be transmitted to the surface of the radiator faster.
The radiator surface is completely smooth, so there are more contact surfaces with the hands, which will produce a very hot feeling.
Therefore, in order to avoid the influence of this heat on the power supply, a separation groove is opened in the power supply and the light source cavity (the flow of air can further take the heat of the light source and the power supply away together).
It works well in the open air where there's convection. Our street light is mainly for outdoor use, so the heat dissipation will be no problem.
