Industrial Indoor & Outdoor Lighting

Solar Tube Lights

High-performance solar tubular fixtures ideal for agricultural sheds, carports, transportation stops, and off-grid sites. They deliver high-efficacy output and dependable multi-night lighting with no electricity costs.

When lighting remote public structures, transit stops, carports, or security pathways where utility grid connection is cost-prohibitive, solar tube lights offer an efficient, zero-electricity linear lighting solution.

Featuring split-type architectures, high-conversion monocrystalline solar panels, high-efficiency LiFePO4 battery storage, and uniform light output, our solar tube light platforms deliver reliable, low glare illumination with zero electricity bills and no cable trenching required.

Why Tubular Solar Lights

Panel fixtures can suffer from dirt accumulation, high wind drag, and limited beam angles. AGC’s tubular design and rugged material selections solve these operational challenges:

01

Uniform Distribution

The tubular housing allows for wide, shadow-free, and uniform light distribution. Ideal for bus stop shelters, pedestrian covered walkways, and linear perimeter lighting where balanced illumination is essential for safety.

02

Separated Solar Harvesting (Split Design)

By pairing the tubular luminaire with an independently mounted solar panel, the PV module can be positioned at the optimal tilt angle for direct sunlight, while the tube light is mounted under shelter roofs, inside agricultural sheds, or along shaded corridors.

03

Corrosion-Resistant End Caps & Breathable Vents

Engineered with marine-grade 316 stainless steel end caps, corrosion-resistant housing materials, and vent diaphragms. This prevents internal condensation build-up while offering high resistance against salty sea air and humid environments.

04

Ultra-High Optical Efficacy

Utilizing premium LED engines and high-transmittance optical polymers, our solar tube light deliver system efficacies up to 180 lm/W, maximizing lumen output while conserving stored battery capacity.

Applications for Solar Tube Lights

Application Optical and Structural Considerations Benefits
Bus Shelters & Transit Canopies 120°–180° low-glare diffused optics; high-impact housing (IK08–IK10) Eliminates harsh shadows for waiting passengers while protecting internal components from vandalism and vehicle vibrations.
Covered Parking & Carports Wide-angle linear beam distribution; moisture-equalizing vent Provides bright, continuous orientation lighting for vehicle parking without trenching grid cables.
Signage & Doorways Linear uniform light distribution preventing harsh hot spots Ensures consistent illumination across ad faces, residential door numbers, and building entrance pathways.
Parks & Recreational Structures Glare-controlled soft ambient diffuse Delivers aesthetic, low-glare ambient lighting for public park gazebos, backyard structures, and outdoor camping venues.
Corridors & Pedestrian Passageways Glare-free diffuser; sealed construction Delivers comfortable visual guidance along town passages, building corridors, and under-awning spaces.

FAQ

Tubular solar lights feature a streamlined, cylindrical profile that reduces wind resistance and prevents dust and leaves accumulation on the fixture body. Additionally, it provides broader, softer ambient light coverage, making them ideal for enclosed structures like transit shelters and covered walkways.

In a split system, the solar tube light and the PV solar panel are connected via a durable cable. The solar panel is installed outdoors on a roof or wall facing direct sunlight, while the tubular light fixture is mounted indoors, inside a bus shelter, or under an overhang where grid power is unavailable.

Standard split systems include a 5 m cable. If your project requires mounting the solar panel further away, customized cables up to 10 meters are available upon request.
