The normal LED high bay in the market comes with a round driver, which comes with a 0.3m long or 1.5m long AC input cable. When the project needs a longer input cable, like 5m, or 10m, people usually extend the cable via a cable connector like the one below, it looks not good, and also takes a long time to process.
Now AGC has a new high bay solution, it comes with an openable driverbox, and support cable inside. People can prepare the required cables like 3x1.0mm2, 3x1.5mm2, or other cables by themselves. Open the driver box by removing the 2 screws on the driver box, insert the AC cable through the cable gland, and wire inside with the driver’s cables. It also supports DALI dim wiring with 5 cords.
The openable driver box brings convenience for the contractors and electricians to process cable and wiring, and also gives the possibility to add sensors by themselves.
