Less Light Spill, Better Living Environment

Recently one of my customers have won a chain tennis court project with our FL35 LED flood light. Before releasing the order, he required us to do dialux simulation for him with FL08 and our skilled engineer finished the simulation very quickly. According to the simulation, each tennis court needs 8pcs 200w led flood light to get 15-20 lux level at 6m installation height. To be honest,FL08 is our old model and I have told him that we have better new model that can be used but the customer says he already submitted FL08 data because he has purchased this model before and he likes the design and he is quite sure that he can win the project so that I haven’t discussed this matter with him any more. 1 day after we offered our simulation report to customer. Below you will find a brief simulation result with FL08.

Customer says he will release the order as soon as possible, But one day, my customer asked me to do a new simulation again to check what is the lux level at the property line. At first, I have no any idea what is the property line and I asked him to give a picture or drawing to show his requirement, when I saw his picture, I suddenly realized that it is related to light spill or light invasion. Please check below red line.

However, our engineer tried many different beam angles and found that it is hard to meet the requirement of 0lux level at the property line because as I said FL08 is an old model and we have no suitable optics to choose. Finally, I have to tell my customer the truth FL08 can not reach 0 lux level at the property line. But we have another new model FL35 with a visor itself that might be a good choice. My customer agreed to check the new model effect first. It is a little bit surprising that the new simulation result is perfect for resolving the light invasion problem.
