Padel, also known as Paddle Tennis, is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. It has gained popularity in over 90 countries and regions worldwide.
Padel is a racquet sport that combines elements of tennis, squash, and badminton.
Since the year 2000, the number of Padel players worldwide has increased by 900%, with over 25 million active players.
Compact floodlights may result in high glare levels and limited lateral angles, which can affect the comfort of the players.
To address this, AGC has developed a longer linear floodlight called SP11 with asymmetric optics(as shown below) specifically for small standardized Padel courts.
Its main features include a larger illuminated area, uniform light distribution, and better alignment with the court dimensions.
By requiring fewer light fixtures, it provides more comfortable and efficient lighting effects.
SP11 240W and 320W, only four lights each can achieve 300 lux and 500 lux respectively for Padel court.
Please see the simulation results below, we use 4pcs 320w SP11 to reach 500lux, and the light uniformity is 0.78.
