3030 chips adopt EMC bracket, 2835 adopt PCT bracket. On the one hand, the PCT material has poor fluidity and injection molding is troublesome and requires traditional stamping technology, while, EMC bracket is produced by a mold top process. On the other hand, PCT only be able to achieve 1W but EMC can achieve 3W. Therefore, the thermal conductivity/temperature resistance of 3030 chips is better than 2835 chips.

PCT bracket has higher reflectivity than EMC, which is why 2835 chips achieve higher light efficiency than 3030 chips. Most high-efficiency high bay lights like 200lm/W in the market use 2835 chips.
