What is Baldr
Baldr, a LED street and urban light, follows the trend of urban differentiation with smooth curvature, creates a tidy impression, and provides excellent heat dissipation. It shapes like a funnel. Clear and full rounded PC cover helps to eliminate blind spots caused by lamp arms, bring safety and attractiveness to the urban space.
Why Baldr is unique
First, it is something to do with up-lighting and down lighting. Look at the light head. It shapes like an inverted triangle. Two versions are optional, low URG version with indirect light and high luminous efficiency with direct light.

Low UGR version
The light source, LED, is placed at the bottom of the luminaire, and the indirect light, reflected by the curved reflector on the roof, is soft and visual comfort.

High luminous efficiency vision
Lights spread out directly from the top of luminaire, through the transparent PC cover without blocking, make full use of the lightoutput, system efficacy up to 140lm/W.
Why it is designed so
Bigger area for better heat sink.
That’s a good question! Image that. When the light is on, the down-lighting area and the power are both bigger than the up-lighting one. Also, a bigger area means better heat sink. So, the down light area can sink the heat for larger power. And the up-light area can achieve excellent heat dissipation in limited space. As a result, clients can get both the good quality lighting product and save cost.
