100m Mesh Wireless Control System for Outdoor Sports Field

Market is moving very fast on outdoor stadium light. Majority of sports field manager and government want now to install smart wireless lighting system for sports fields(soccer field/tennis court/rugby court/hockey court etc..). The major part of this market is monopolised by Philips and AAA LUX because they can manage the light system by an APP on phone or PC and final customer can manage their light system at distance through the internet.

In the domestic market, there are few wireless control system for outdoor sports lighting, the most we used is Zigbee wireless system. Current proposal is HLC833-Z Zigbee controller, but one of our customers has endured problems with this AC input controller. As you can see from below connection diagram, the main AC power goes through the Zigbee controller firstly, then to the LED driver, such connection will stop the luminaire from working once the Zigbee controller is damaged.

We are convincing the Zigbee supplier to develop a DC input Zigbee controller for outdoor sports field, which is IP65 grade, control range 100 meters. The controller can be integrated inside our current driver box. The crucial advantage of DC input controller is it connects to the auxiliary power of the LED driver, the luminaire can keep working even the Zigbee controller is damaged.
