Luminance is a measure of the power emitted by a light source in a given direction per unit area per unit solid angle. In other words, luminance is the amount of light that passes through or is emitted from a particular area within a given solid angle. The luminance of LED lights is the most concerned problem of users. 

Usually LED lights are marked with light flux, which allows the user to determine the brightness of a LED light. The higher the luminous flux, the brighter LED lamp. When people talk about brightness they often refer to luminance. Brightness is a subjective quality while luminance is a physical property of light. CCT (Correlated Color temperature) is the unit of measurement for identifying the color of light, which is represented by K value.Yellow light is "below 3300K", white light is "above 5300K", and a middle color is "3300K-5300K".  users can choose the appropriate CCT according to the lighting application environment and operator requirements.

Choosing a lamp with the right colour qualities is important in environments - particularly in large industrial buildings such as a factory or warehouse where lighting levels are crucial for maintaining good health and safety practices and keeping staff at maximum efficiency.

the leakage current is also referred to as saturation current because it is fairly independent of the amount of reverse bias. It is not, however, independent of carriers generated by other sources of energy. If the diode is heated or light is shined on it, more carriers will be freed up to contribute increasing the reverse saturation current. The limit of leakage current has to do with the limited number of minority carries near the junction.

LED is a one-way conductive luminous body. if there is a reverse current, it is called leakage. The leakage current has a great relationship with the lifespan of lamps. No leakage current is the ideal case.as leakage current can not become one of the factors affecting the lifespan of the lamp in this case. But if the leakage current is very large, then the LED lamps will have a short serve life.

There are many parameters that determine the quality of LED bead. One of the parameters is very important but easily overlooked. It is antistatic. That is, the resistance of LED lamp beads to static electricity. Because LED lamp beads are semiconductor devices that are sensitive to static electricity, it is very easy to cause electrostatic failure.

LED is the principle of electron flow to excite light, and static electricity has a great influence on electrons, so it can not effectively resist static electricity, the light source can not operate normally, and even can not be put into use. Therefore, the antistatic ability of the LED lamp bead is critical to the life of the LED industrial lighting fixture.

The stronger the antistatic ability of LEDs used in LED industrial lighting lamps, the longer the lifespan of the lamps. So the antistatic ability is also a very important reference parameter. If not carefully identified, it is easy to buy  inferior industrial lighting fixtures with low antistatic LEDs encapsulated from the market . This is one of the reasons why so many industrial luminaires claim to have a long lifespan, yet have a short serve life.

Although the lifespan of LED industrial lighting lamps is much longer than that of traditional lamps, it is not infinite and the performance of LED luminaires degrades over time with light levels falling gradually.But lifespan is still an important parameter to judge the quality of industrial lamps. Longer service life means less frequency of lamp replacement. In the same 20 years, a light fixture with a 5-year service life needs to be replaced four times, while a 10-year service life only needs to be replaced twice. It is clear that the former costs much more than the latter.

Lifespan is determined by lighting decay.  A small lighting decay means a long service life . the real high-quality LED industrial lamps should have a service life of at least 5 years. IP rating is the level of protection against foreign body intrusion in the electrical equipment enclosure, derived from the International Electrotechnical Commission standard IEC60529.  It is usually expressed as an IP followed by two Numbers that specify the level of protection.The first digit refers to the level of protection a scale or indicator enclosure against access to hazardous parts (e.g., dust particles, electrical conductors, moving parts) and the ingress of solid foreign objects. the highest level is 6. while the second digit defines the level of protection against liquids. The highest level is 8. The larger each digit is, the greater the protection.
